Compostable and natural adhesive strips - a non irritating wound covering for small injuries, cuts and grazes. Made from bamboo fibre and bamboo gauze, which allows oxygen to reach the wound to assist with the skins natural healing process.
Recyclable packaging, biodegradable film, compostable strip, vegan, organic, hypoallergenic, latex/paraben/silicone free.
Each tub contains 25 strips.
Swap for: latex and plastic based plasters.
What makes these special? Many plasters contain an array of chemicals which can cause skin irritation, not the best when a plaster is to help your body be protected whilst it heals. PATCH wound covering solutions are made from breathable bamboo fibre to help the body heal, naturally, and without any nasties. They are also silicone, latex and paraben free.
Most plasters will take hundreds of years to biodegrade. They are usually made from woven plastic (PVC, polyethylene or polyurethane), or latex.
PATCH strips however, are made with soft, organic bamboo fabric and gauze with hypoallergenic Pressure Sensitive Adhesive (PSA). Their PSA formulation is made from a combination of natural minerals and Nano technology (think tiny suction cups) to gently adhere to the skin without causing reactions.
PATCH chose to use bamboo as their main material as it is one of the fastest growing resources on earth. It uses much less water than trees, produces up to 35 more oxygen, doesn't need pesticides or herbicides - and of course, composts as any other natural material will.
Materials: Strips - Home compostable within a few weeks.
